Life Property Group working alongside Carmarthenshire County Council had appointed Vaughan Construction Limited as the Principal Contractor for the construction of 16 residential dwellings of high-quality social housing consisting of a mixture of both houses and flats, with associated infrastructure including new footway along the south of Parc Pendre with vehicle crossover to provide good access to the development.  The footway was built to adoptable standards whilst the parking bays remain private.

The works included the site clearance and ecological mitigation work including dormouse and bird mitigation, removal of existing trees and controlled excavation and disposal on Japanese Knotweed.  Vibro Piling for ground improvement works to all plots. Excavation of trench foundations and concrete pour.  Excavation for and installation of foul and storm water drainage. Section Agreements. Installation of beam and block. Installation of timber framing works.  Face Brickwork and render external walls. Installation of new fibre cement slate roofs. External windows and doors.  Internal stud and plasterboard/skimming works. Internal joinery consisting of skirting, architraves, doors, ironmongery, staircases and kitchen. Wall and floor finishes including wall tiling to bathroom, ensuites and cloakrooms, floor tiling to main bathroom, ensuite and kitchen, laminate floor finish to main hall and lounge and standard decoration works.  1st and 2nd fix M&E works including PV Array, lighting and small power, tv sockets, smoke alarms, extractions fans, sanitary items, main eco compact heating system with radiators and towel rails, including sprinkler systems. Final clean up and handover.

A private client working alongside Dennis Hellyar Architects appointed Vaughan Construction Limited as the Principal Contractor for the construction of the New Eco House Dwelling at their property.

The works included construction of a new 2 storey Eco House detached dwelling with associated landscaping works.  Carry out designed piling installation.  Installation of RC slab and substructure blockwork. Install structural steelwork, I Joist timbers, Oak glulam beams & posts and structural timber frame. Install Medite smartply propassiv external sheathing boards, membrane and Warmcell cellulose loose fibre.  External stone wall finish. Install standing seam roof covering including RWG.  Supply and install aluminium door and window system.   Supply and install Isokern Precast Pumice flue system chimney.  Internal walls and ceilings with Medite Smartply Propassiv sheathing board, plasterboard and 3mm skim finish. 1^st and 2^nd fix C&J works including staircase, balustrade, kitchen installation NI appliances.  Screed floor complete with Junkers Wood Plank finish & Amtico Vinyl Sheet.  Decoration to all walls, ceiling and woodwork.  Mechanical and Electrical 1^st and 2^nd Fix to new layout including Ecodan Heat Pump, UFH, Sprinkler System,  PV System, Lighting System, Small Power, Fire and Alarm.  Decoration to finishes.  External drainage and Bio-0retention water garden including hard and soft landscaping works. Testing and commissioning.

W.A. Bowler appointed Vaughan Construction Ltd to complete the superstructure works on a new housing development site in Llwynhendy.

The work consisted of the installation of timber framing works. Block work and render to external walls.  Installation of new fibre cement slate roofs. Installation of external windows and doors. Internal stud and plasterboard/skimming works. Internal joinery consisting of skirting, architraves, doors, ironmongery, staircases and kitchen. Wall and floor finishes including wall tiling to bathroom, ensuites and cloakrooms, floor tiling to main bathroom, ensuite and kitchen, laminate floor finish to main hall and lounge and standard decoration works. 1st and 2nd fix M&E works including lighting, small power, tv sockets, smoke alarms, extraction fans, sanitary items, main eco compact heating system with radiators, towel rails and sprinkler systems.

Lewis Partnership Architects  on behalf of the client had appointed Vaughan Construction Limited as the Principial Contractor for the Proposed Extension and Dwelling at Freshfields, Five Roads, Llanelli.

The works include the demolition of the existing outbuilding including floors slab and foundations.  Excavate to reduce levels and trenches to receive foundations.  Install Spantherm insulated precast concrete slab system including blockwork substructure.  Installation of structural steelwork.  Installation of timber frame including all necessary insulation.  Install Euroclad standing seam wall cladding and roof.  External timber cladding.  Install uPVC external windows, bifold door and entrance doors.  Carpentry and Joinery works including timber partition stud walls, door sets, architraves and skirting.  Drylining works with plaster skim finish to partitions and ceilings.  1^st and 2^nd M&E to suit new layout including solar PV array.  Decoration works.  Testing and commissioning.

The works include the excavation to reduce levels in preparation to form concrete foundations.  Install new storm and foul drainage and service connections.  Construction of a traditional blockwork dwelling with external Parex one coat render system.   Installation of structural steelwork.   Form new blockwork internal walls and stud partition walls.  Construct new eco-joist insulated Sika flat roof with flat roof lights.  New anthracite grey aluminium windows and doors with sliding door.  1^st and 2^nd fix Mechanical installation including air source heat pump, mechanical extraction and heat recovery system, underfloor heating system and controls, sprinkler system and fitting only of client supplied sanitary items.  1^st and 2^nd fix Electrical installation including metering and distribution boards, power, internal and external lighting, fire and CO detection alarms, telecommunications and Solar PV.  Carpentry & joinery, drylining walls and ceilings with skim finish.  Decoration of all plastered walls and ceilings including timber frames and skirtings.  Testing and commissioning.
