Life Property Group have appointed Vaughan Construction Limited as principal contractor for the Development at Cwwmawr, Drefach for Coastal Housing Group.
The project involves the construction of 20 residential dwellings of high-quality social housing consisting of a micture of both houses and apartments, along with the necessary supporting infrastructure. Vehicle and pedestrian access from Derwen Road will be improved, ensuring seamless connectivity. Additionally, the footway will be extended along the entire development to adoptable standards, with a turning head and parking bays provided at the site’s northeastern end.
Redevelopment at White Swan, Swansea
South Property Investment Ltd have appointed Vaughan Construction Limited as principal contractor for the redevelopment of the existing White Swan Public House to form 3 Nr commercial units and 9 Nr private apartments.
The works include the minor demolition and soft stirp of the existing building. Install new foundations where necessary to allow for the existing 2-storey building to be developed into a 4-storey structure. 2nd and 3rd floor to be extended by timber frame and external face brickwork to match existing complete with flat Sedum Roof. Floor joist to be installed to 2nd and 3rd floor. Removal of existing windows and doors and carry out opening alterations to suit new window and door requirements. Install of new windows and doors. Installation of new staircase. Install new partition walls and ceilings. 1st Fix M&E to suit new layouts. Carpentry and joinery 1st fix throughout to suit new layout. Installation of new floor coverings. Drylining and plastering throughout. 2nd Fix M&E. 2nd Fix Carpentry and Joinery. Decoration and FFE as per client spec.
